Registration
Prior registration is required for all classes to maintain a
spacious environment. Indicate class(es) desired by e-mail or
phone (410-991-2610) messages. Payment may be mailed prior to start of class. Sliding
scale available. (Marilyn Apirian, 113 Severn Way, Arnold, MD 21012) or may be
made at first class.
Missed classes may be made up -- Coordination REQUIRED for make
up in Tuesday 6 PM class.

Class Descriptions:
Gentle Yoga
This
class is geared to those who want to support their body’s strengthening and
revitalization with a more gentle yoga flow. Each class combines slow
stretching; full, rhythmic breathwork; traditional and supported yoga postures
for increasing strength, flexibility, and balance; and guided deep relaxation
to bring a sense of relaxed aliveness and well-being. Supports, such as chairs
and blankets are used to increase stability and safety and to promote a deep
and transforming experience.
Level 1 Yoga
This
is a moderately paced class, which focuses on optimal body alignment and
breathing practices, to increase strength, flexibility, and balance, while
bringing about a sense of relaxed aliveness and well being. The class has a
flowing, meditative quality.
Level 1-2 Yoga
This
class uses a dynamic sequence of warm-ups and yoga postures, with breathing
techniques and increased body awareness, to provide an transforming experience.
Deeply restorative and energizing. Meditation included. Suitable for a range of
participant needs.
Pilates Mat
Pilates
is a balanced system for strengthening core muscles in the back and abdomen,
promoting a stronger and more toned body and postural alignment. This vigorous
class ends with stretching and integrative relaxation.
